At Finnex Kittens, our greatest responsibility is ensuring that every Bengal and Maine Coon kitten is placed in a safe, loving, and permanent home. We carefully screen potential adopters because our kittens are family members long before they become yours.

Please review the following adoption requirements before reserving a kitten.

#1 A Safe Indoor Environment Is Required

All Finnex Kittens are sold as indoor companions only.

Bengal and Maine Coon cats thrive in safe indoor environments where they are protected from traffic, predators, disease, and other outdoor dangers. We do not place our kittens in homes where they will be allowed to roam freely outdoors.

If you would like your cat to enjoy fresh air, we recommend a secure catio, enclosed outdoor space, or supervised harness training.

#2 Stable Housing and Adequate Living Space

Our kittens must be placed in homes that can comfortably accommodate a growing cat.

While both Bengals and Maine Coons adapt well to apartments and houses, they require adequate space, enrichment, and daily interaction. Maine Coons are one of the largest domestic cat breeds, while Bengals are highly active and intelligent cats that need room to play and explore.

Prospective owners should ensure their living arrangements allow pets and can comfortably support a lifelong commitment.

#3 Time, Attention, and Companionship

Kittens are social animals that require daily interaction and care.

We expect adopters to spend quality time with their new kitten and provide proper attention, affection, exercise, and mental stimulation. Bengals especially thrive when they have opportunities to play, climb, and engage with their families.

A kitten should never spend extended periods isolated without companionship or enrichment.

#4 Veterinary Care Commitment

By adopting from Finnex Kittens, you agree to provide routine veterinary care throughout your kitten’s life.

This includes:

• Annual wellness examinations
• Recommended vaccinations
• Parasite prevention
• Prompt treatment for illness or injury
• Proper nutrition and weight management

The health and well-being of our kittens remain a top priority even after they leave our home.

#5 Spaying or Neutering

Unless otherwise agreed upon in writing, all kittens sold as pets must be spayed or neutered at the appropriate age recommended by your veterinarian.

This helps prevent accidental breeding and contributes to the long-term health and well-being of your cat.

Breeding rights are only available to approved breeding programs under separate agreements.

#6 Lifetime Commitment

Adopting a kitten is a long-term commitment.

Bengal and Maine Coon cats commonly live 12–18 years or longer with proper care. Before adopting, please ensure you are prepared for the financial, emotional, and time commitments associated with pet ownership.
